It is good to have an idea about a home back pain remedy because it is a very common condition that occurs to people of all ages. This is a good back pain remedy that is normally used when ice treatment does not help in easing the pain; soaking in hot water for about 20 minutes helps increase the elasticity of the ligaments of the back and thus eases the pain.


Massage therapy
Massage is known the world over to be the best back pain remedy; it works by applying pressure to certain points on the back and allows for improved circulation and stimulation of muscles and ligaments. To get a massage, lie face down on mattress and allow your partner, friend or masseuse to massage your back.


Buy new mattress
A sagging mattress can contribute to development of a back pain; this is because when a mattress is sunken or sagging, it makes us sleep in bent postures and cause a lot of strain to the back. Avoid beds with springs or place a flat piece of plywood between the bed and the mattress to stop sagging.


Stretching
Stretching is a good back pain remedy because it helps strengthen weak muscles and relaxes tense muscles. Make sure to start by gently stretching before getting used to it and stop in case the stretching causes any amount of pain.


Epsom salts -Bathing in Epsom salts

Taking a warm bath in Epsom salts can greatly reduce symptoms of regular back pain. Other than being good for the skin, Epsom is a well documented back pain remedy; the salt penetrates the skin and soothes tense muscles giving quick relief from back pain. To use this remedy, fill the tub with warm water and add a cupful of Epsom salt and soak for about 30 minutes. This treatment is an effective form of back pain remedy.
