Natural cosmetics products

Natural cosmetics are very beneficial compared to other cosmetics simply because they have natural components and have no additives that cause side effects to the body. There are dozens of natural cosmetic products that are both used at home and industrially to manufacture other cosmetics. They include the following items;

Almond extracts
This is one of the common natural cosmetics products and is also used in aromatherapy. Generally, it can be extracted from both sweet and bitter almonds and is used in making of soaps and perfumes. Almond is also widely used in skincare and in the treatment of eczema.

Papaya
The papaya fruit is also one of the very important natural cosmetics; the inside of the papaya peel is used in facial treatment because it contains enzymes that are known to exfoliate the skin, repair sun damage and get rid of age spots. To use the cosmetic, simply remove the seeds and pulp of the fruit then rub the inside of the peel on your face and let to stay on the skin for about 20 minutes before rinsing off with warm water.

Peppermint
Peppermint oil is used in making of soaps and is one of the natural cosmetics known to help reduce cellulite. The oil can also be applied directly onto the skin to remove skin blemishes and can be massaged onto the foot and left to stay overnight to get rid of athlete’s foot.

Citrus
Citrus fruits are rich in vitamin C and are natural antioxidants rich in vitamin E. they are known to revitalize the skin and lighten the skin color as well as reduce freckles and scars. They serve as natural cosmetics in a variety of ways; Orange juice applied on the skin is used to treat wrinkles; the vitamin E in the juice is a natural antioxidant the helps revitalize the skin. The compounds in lemon are known to clear marks left by acne on the skin, while it is also a well known antibacterial. Freshly squeezed lemon juice can be directly applied on the skin or used as face cleanser.

Thyme

This herb serves as one of the natural cosmetics and is mainly used in preparation of fragrances and lotions. Thyme extracts are known to be strong antibacterial and are used for cleansing and as anti-inflammatory for the skin. The extracts can be applied directly onto the skin as treatment for acne or seborrhea. In some cases, the thyme is available in tinctures that can be directly used or used to manufacture other natural cosmetics products.
